These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at meridiannorthland.com (the "Site"), operated by Meridian North Land Services, LLC ("Meridian North," "we," "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for general informational purposes about our land services, including land and title services, lease and mineral acquisition, title curative, GIS and mapping, drilling and unit support, due diligence and transaction support, courthouse research and imaging, land administration, and fractional land management and consulting. You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of the Site.
2. No professional advice; no engagement
Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, title, financial, engineering or other professional advice, and nothing on the Site creates a client, contractor, agency or fiduciary relationship between you and Meridian North. Ownership reports, runsheets, maps, due diligence reports and other work product are provided only under a written services agreement that sets out the scope, fees, deliverables and limitations of the engagement.
3. Proposals and inquiries
Submitting an inquiry through the Site is a request for information and is not an offer or acceptance of services. Any proposal we send in response is subject to the terms stated in that proposal and to a signed services agreement. Pricing, timelines and availability stated in a proposal may change until a services agreement is executed.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its contents, including text, graphics, logos, the Meridian North name and mark, and page layouts, are owned by Meridian North or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the Site for your own internal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.
5. Information you submit
You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you submit through the Site, including the contact form. You agree not to submit information that you do not have the right to share, that is confidential to a third party, or that is unlawful, defamatory or infringing. Our collection and use of information submitted through the Site is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
6. SMS / text messaging terms
Program description. If you provide your mobile number and opt in, Meridian North Land Services, LLC may send you SMS text messages related to your inquiry, including responses to questions, proposal and scheduling updates, project status and account notifications. We do not send promotional marketing text messages unless you separately opt in to them.
Consent. You consent to receive text messages by texting us first, by providing your mobile number and express agreement to receive texts when you contact us, or through any other opt-in method we offer. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry and project activity.
Fees. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
Opt out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by emailing [email protected].
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email [email protected], for assistance.
Privacy. Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator.

9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MERIDIAN NORTH AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE SITE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Liability for services we perform under a signed services agreement is governed by that agreement, not by these Terms.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Meridian North and its members, managers, employees, contractors and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rockwall County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after a revision is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
